Benjamin Yang is the Managing Director of Balanced Consultancy. His expertise lies in strategy, organizational development, industrial / organizational psychology, positive psychology and human resources.

Currently, he is also the Principal Consultant for the School of Positive Psychology and the Innovation Advisor for Qi-global.

Benjamin has an Executive Masters in Industrial / Organizational Psychology & Human Resources and a Bachelor of Commerce in International Business and Marketing (Distinction). His other professional qualifications include being a Certified Trainer and Assessor from the WDA (ACTA), a Certified Business Process Re-engineering Practitioner and a Certified Human Behaviourist (Leadership Institute of America). Benjamin is also sitting on the contribution panel for JustHRAsia (http://justhrasia.com/contibutors). His other accolades include the Singapore Discovery Center Prize for Entrepreneurship, the Cast Laboratories Prize for International Business and The Bain & Co. Prize for Strategy.

Prior to Balanced Consultancy, he spearheaded Organizational Development at the Singapore Economic Development Board. He was also the leader of EDB’s research team that explored the economic opportunities for Singapore in view of the Singapore Youth Olympic Games.

In terms of training, he has conducted various workshops for corporations and government agencies. These workshops include the application of business psychology in organizations, strategy development, organizational development, visioning , leading change and positive psychology.
